Freedom rings throughout the land,
Grief is being replaced with pride.
We can worship God together,
Courageous soldiers served and died.
Today we honor our fallen soldiers,
Who paid the ultimate price.
Our children are safe our borders secure,
Because of their sacrifice.
Alone and lonely in a distant land,
They make but one request.
If it should happen we not return,
Tell them we gave our best.
Freedom rings throughout the land,
Courageous soldiers met the test.
We can worship God together,
Courageous soldiers gave their best.
